AAB Group
AAB is a tech-enabled, business critical services group. Sounds impressive, doesn’t it? But, what does that mean?
It means we provide services and advice that help businesses at every stage of the lifecycle; so they can effectively manage the two critical elements that make organisations tick – their people and their finances. We sometimes use technical innovation to support what we do; improving efficiency and delivering added value you’d think wasn’t possible.
AAB Group have a global portfolio of SME and large corporate clients working across seven key sectors: energy, tech, food, drink & hospitality, construction & property, public sector, industrial and business services. AAB also has extensive experience of working with family businesses and individuals across specialist tax, financial planning and wealth management.
Our greatest strength is our team; who are all passionate, bold, motivational, positive, empathetic, driven and straight-talking. They’re the reason clients work with us. Our culture drives us to provide the resources and technology that ensure things run smoothly for our clients, no matter what hurdles they encounter. We don’t do this to satisfy intellectual curiosity, or just to make money; we do it because we care about the people we work with and want them to succeed.
AAB works from offices in Scotland, England, Ireland and internationally.

A Case Study: Crieff Hydro Group
The Crieff Hydro Family of hotels operate 8 hotels throughout Scotland , employing circa 850 members of staff.
The group were looking for wide ranging tax support, originally focused on corporation tax and capital allowances, to not only help keep them compliant but also maximise appropriate tax reliefs available.
We worked alongside the in-house finance team to carry out a detailed capital allowance review as well as preparing the annual corporation tax return. As experts in this area we were able to identify savings all while taking the admin burden away from the busy internal team.
My team and I at Crieff Hydro Hotels have been really pleased with French Duncan’s (now AAB) work across our Corporate Tax and wider areas. Their work on our behalf is first-class, and even our bank has commented recently on the quality and reputation of their tax services. And it is great that they are able to support our Group more widely whenever required, whether with VAT advice, employment taxes or with Corporate Advisory functions. But it’s not just the quality of work we appreciate, it’s also the friendly and supportive nature of their staff across the board. As a company for whom customer service is fundamental, it’s great to work with a supplier with the same focus and standards of customer care.”
