A Case Study: City Hotels (Dunfermline) Ltd
We were instructed as commercial agents by the owners of The Victoria Hotel in Kirkcaldy, an independently owned 21 bed hotel with function room, bar and restaurant. Asking price was set at £895,000
The aim was to market the hotel For Sale and achieve the best possible exit price for the owners, they had established the business and achieved impressive levels of revenue and profits over the years and were keen to sell to an experienced operator in the sector who could take on the business and staff.
We met the owners on site, discussed their requirements and gave them valuation advice for the business. After preparing a sales brochure we issued details to our professional network and our extensive database of buyers. After a short marketing period a buyer was identified, completing the sale in May 2024, just in time for the summer season.
