Edinburgh-based legal services business Vialex was established in 2010 with a vision to meet clients day-to-day corporate and commercial legal needs in a more comprehensive, flexible, and cost-effective way.

Since our formation we have been providing corporate, commercial, real estate, intellectual property, regulatory, compliance, and data protection advice to both UK and international businesses, via our innovative and uniquely positioned Legal Counsel Service.

The team comprises highly experienced solicitors all of whom have in-house legal experience, and who in many cases have also held partner level, or other senior positions, in traditional law firms. They understand the fundamental importance of being able to deliver practical and pragmatic legal advice to support and further advance the commercial objectives of a client’s business, and our model allows us to get to know the client’s business in more depth.

In addition to our Legal Counsel Service, Vialex has extensive experience advising on all aspects of corporate law and our Transaction Services team is very active in M&A, fundraisings, and debt work across the spectrum of businesses and sectors.

Our real estate team advises on all aspects of commercial property work, ranging from sales and acquisitions to leasing and secured lending.

We also advise on financial services, pensions services, and business immigration law.

We have a dedicated Company Secretarial services unit, and as part of an integrated service via our colleagues at Navigator Employment Law, offer services in relation to employment law, HR and Health & Safety advice.
